DAVE ASHFIELD PHOTOGRAPHY

INTRODUCTION

Having enjoyed a number of commissions, both private and commercial, it is tempting to promote myself as a ‘Professional’. But, even though I am delighted to offer my work for sale, I have received no official training. Consequently, I would prefer to think of myself as an enthusiastic amateur with a passion for the capabilities of digital photography.

I’m old enough to remember film - in fact, my first camera was a Box Brownie. But rather than return to those ‘good old days’, I love exploring the possibilities made available by the new age of computers and make no apology for changes made to images ‘as captured’ by the camera.

As for a favourite topic, I have to admit that I will photograph anything that takes my fancy. The selection I have chosen to display in the attached galleries covers quite a variety of subjects and I hope you find something to your liking.
